Eufy sent me the SpaceView Baby Monitor to review but all opinions are my own.
My first baby is almost 7 years old and I have three children all about two years apart, which means I have been through A LOT of baby monitors. There are things I liked about the ones I have had, and things I have hated. So, I was more than happy to try out another new baby monitor, the Eufy SpaceView Baby Monitor.
I have to admit though, I have never had an HD one. They didn't exist when my first baby was born, or if they did it must have been expensive and not in my radar.
Eufy is an Anker company which is highly rated on Amazon for their tech products. They make all kinds of cool gadgets and I truly have my eye on the Eufy robot vac which looks amazing.
I expected I would get a high tech and user friendly baby monitor from them, and the SpaceView baby monitor did not disappoint. One of the first items I noticed when I opened the box was the nice packaging and how easy it was to locate all the pieces and set up right out of the box.
Here is some more information about the SpaceView Baby Monitor from Eufy:
See Up To 87% More: The large 5" 720p display shows a sharp picture with 10 times more detail than ordinary 240p-display baby monitors.
Wide-Angle Lens Included: No need to purchase another lens. When your baby starts to walk and run around, just attach the extra lens to expand the view to 110 Degree.
Whole-Room Coverage: Pan the lens 330 Degree to see corner-to corner and tilt 110 Degree to see floor to ceiling.
Instant Alerts: Get alerted immediately when your baby is crying, even when you're sleeping.
Be Mobile: The 460ft-coverage area keeps you connected in real-time wherever you are in your home.
The Eufy SpaceView baby monitor comes with:
Power cords (long cables) for the parent unit and camera.
A shelf which can be used to mount it.
A lens to expand the view to 110° which is a neat feature I have not seen in another baby monitor.
And, of course the Parent unit and camera. You can expand and add more cameras as needed.
And the tech specs:
A 720P HD resolution
A 5" screen size on the parent unit
Pan and tilting of 115° Vertical, 330° Horizontal.
A night vision range of 13 - 16 feet.
A battery life of 7 Hours in Always-On Display Mode, 17 Hours in Power Saving Mode
460 feet data range
Two way talk and a temperature display on the parent unit.
A 2900mAh battery.
There is also an SD card slot for future updates and features.
Conclusion
I am not exaggerating when I say this is the nicest baby monitor I have ever used. Now mine are a few years old, but I have never had one with such a big clear screen. It is secure compared to using a camera over WiFi which I do sometimes but probably would not have when my children were tiny babies.
The 5" screen cannot be beat, and the baby monitor has all the features I expect such as night vision, a temperature reading, the ability to zoom in and pan, the ability to add a lens to expand the view (okay I did not expect that but it is nice), the ability to add up to four cameras to view, and the ability to have two way communication with your baby.
For the price point, and for a baby monitor that is secure and not relying on WiFi, I think this is the best price and feature set you can currently find.
You can find the SpaceView baby monitor here on the Eufy website or on Amazon where you can you read other user reviews!

A very nice and detailed review written. I myself had the baby monitor for my daughter who is 4 now. But, never knew about this brand. I had to research a lot before buying the baby monitor. So, I will definitely suggest this baby monitors to some of my friends.
