Netflix on Peloton bike or tread

If you spend any time on my website, you know I am a huge Peloton fan and love my Peloton bike and Peloton Tread.

I love all the Peloton content, and I have never wanted to watch something else on my bike or while exercising.

But I know some people prefer to watch their content, or maybe they want to take a class break. Therefore, I have seen the question asked numerous times: can you watch Netflix on Peloton?

Yes, it is possible to watch Netflix on Peloton.

Should I watch Netflix on Peloton?

Okay, I will tell you straight up I will not use my bike this way. I will show you how to do it, but Peloton does not endorse or recommend it.

In fact some rumors hacking your Peloton bike will void the Peloton warranty.

I know plenty of people do it, but I do no know if this causes tablet issues.

I love the content enough that I almost always find a live ride or something in the on-demand library to watch while riding.

Some alternatives to hacking your Peloton include using an iPad to watch Netflix.

Or you can watch a TV in the room and use the Scenic Ride or Just Ride feature. I have a TV set up in my gym, but guess what, I don't watch it.

When doing cardio I need the push to get the most out of it, if I just turn the TV on and watch it without coaching then I really don't feel I am getting the best workout.

Sometimes you need to take it easy, or maybe you don't care and want Netflix on the bike.

In that case, read on for instructions on how to install it.

This is one of a few Peloton hacks, and I do not use it. I am not sure if there are actually any repercussions to watching Netflix on the Peloton but I am not willing to risk it.

I just love my Peloton bike way too much! I also am a huge fan of the content.

I have not personally tried watching Netflix on the Tread either but I would think it works the same way.

Let me know, have you tried this and has it caused any issues on your bike?

I have tried this on the tread. However, once I go onto the testing web browser, my speed locks and shuts down. Does not allow me to set my speed

Thanks for the tip. I got a Peloton Bike + yesterday. My little kids like to use it while I’m not on it and I wanted to let them watch a Netflix show while they are on it. I was able to log onto Netflix but when I hit play I get a net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME

Any ideas on how I can avoid this?

@Caleb, there is no way around watching netflix without installing APK pack Nova on your Peloton Tablet then installing the Netflix app itself on the Peloton Tablet ..there is a video on youtube with instructions, do this at your own risk though... here's the link to his video

@Dani, unless you jailbreak the tablet, you cannot on new models. The author did not test what was written (in article), so did not know you can only access youtube in the browser. Everything else will be an error when you get to streaming unless broken, voiding the warranty. ... I hang a tablet on free ride mode.
